Golden Chapters Living exists because too many people reach a hard moment — a discharge, a release, a diagnosis, a loss — and find nowhere dignified to go next. We built homes for exactly that moment.
Why we are here
The name says what we believe. A chapter ends; the story does not. Golden Chapters Living was founded to give adults a safe, genuinely welcoming place to live while they write what comes next — with support that is practical, respectful and steady.
Our homes serve people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, adults building a life in recovery, men and women returning to the community after incarceration, and older adults who want to keep their independence with care close by. Different needs, one standard: dignity.
We are a residential living provider, not a treatment facility and not a hospital. Where a resident needs clinical or mental-health care beyond our scope, we connect them with qualified providers and stay involved as the people who live alongside them — because continuity is what makes care work.
Our work is rooted in Delaware. We serve New Castle, Kent and Sussex Counties — three counties, one standard of care.
Future programs may expand into surrounding communities as applicable licensing, authorization and operational requirements are completed.
