A place to begin again
Golden Chapters Living was founded on a simple belief: people do better when they live somewhere safe, settled and genuinely cared for. Our homes are designed to feel like homes — quiet, personal, and warm — with professional support woven through the ordinary parts of the day.
Whether someone is leaving a hospital, a treatment program, a correctional facility or a living situation that is no longer the right fit, we meet them where they are and build the next step with them.
Where we serve
Serving Delaware — New Castle, Kent and Sussex Counties.
Future programs may expand into surrounding communities as applicable licensing, authorization and operational requirements are completed.
From Dover and Wilmington to the southern coast — one team, homes across all three Delaware counties.

Who we serve
Golden Chapters Living is building a continuum of supportive residential options for adults with diverse needs. Services are introduced as appropriate licensing, authorization, staffing and program requirements are completed. Availability varies by program. Contact us for current service availability.
Some services listed below represent programs in development and may require separate licensing, certification, authorization or other regulatory approval before enrollment begins.
Supportive, transitional, recovery-oriented, respite, senior, veteran, young-adult and independent residential living, each shaped around dignity, stability and greater independence.
01Dignity, choice and individualized support
Person-centered residential support for eligible adults, including eligible young adults age 18 and older, with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our approach emphasizes dignity, choice, independence, skill development, community inclusion and individualized support. Golden Chapters Living is pursuing the applicable Delaware DDDS authorization for this service.
02A structured, substance-free home
Structured, substance-free residential environments for individuals committed to maintaining sobriety and building a stable, independent future.
03Stability while a life is rebuilt
Stable transitional housing for individuals rebuilding their lives after incarceration and working toward successful community reintegration, employment, independence, and long-term stability.
04Comfort, companionship and independence
Comfortable residential living options for older adults seeking community, stability, dignity, companionship, and an appropriate level of independent living.
05Short-term support for individuals and caregivers
Golden Chapters Living plans to explore respite services designed to provide temporary support for eligible individuals while giving family members and other primary caregivers time away from their caregiving responsibilities. Respite is separate from Golden Chapters Living's pending DDDS Residential Habilitation application and will be offered only after any required authorization, licensing and program requirements have been completed.
06Support for those who have served
Golden Chapters Living plans to develop supportive residential options for veterans, including individuals transitioning from housing instability or navigating significant life changes after military service. Our vision is to provide a stable, respectful environment that supports independence, community connection and progress toward individual goals.
Veteran-focused programs may have separate eligibility, funding, licensing or authorization requirements. This service will be introduced only after applicable program and regulatory requirements are completed. Contact us for information about the current status of this program.
07A supported start to adult life
Golden Chapters Living plans to develop residential options for young adults who are transitioning toward greater independence. This may include young adults transitioning from youth services, foster care or other living arrangements who would benefit from a stable environment while establishing their next chapter.
Our planned approach will emphasize practical independent-living skills, education and employment goals, financial responsibility, healthy routines, community connections and preparation for increasingly independent living.
Services will be introduced only after applicable licensing, authorization and program requirements are completed. Eligibility and available supports will depend on the specific program.
08A home of one’s own, with support close by
Golden Chapters Living plans to develop residential options for adults who can live largely on their own and want a stable home with support available when it is needed. This program is in development, and the level of support offered will be determined by applicable licensing requirements and the needs Golden Chapters is legally and professionally authorized to serve.
Our program list is still growing. If the support you are looking for is not listed above, reach out and we will tell you honestly what we offer today and what is on the way.

Every person here is treated as an adult with a story, a preference and a say in their own life.
Consistent routines, attentive staff and homes that are genuinely cared for — the foundation everything else is built on.
We keep the people who love our residents informed, welcomed and involved, because no one does this alone.
Life at Golden Chapters Living
Our homes are built around ordinary life — the routines, rituals and relationships that make a place feel like yours.

The people behind the homes
Golden Chapters Living is run by people who chose this work. Here are the roles that make each home operate — and the faces will be added as our team grows.
Watch our story
Golden Chapters Living began with a question: what would it take for someone leaving a hard season to land somewhere dignified, safe and genuinely welcoming?
Our story is still being filmed. When the video is ready it will play right here — and in the meantime, we would rather tell you about it in person.
